Throughout the school year, there are many opportunities to support The Williams School. Families often ask, “if we pay tuition, why do we need to give to the annual fund and other efforts at Williams?” Tuition and fees cover only 95% of our operating budget; therefore, we rely on our community’s support to fill the gap and provide essential support to each and every one of our students.
Through the Annual Fund campaign, special events, and other fundraising efforts, your continued investment in our school strengthens and sustains the daily opportunities of a Williams’ education. All gifts to the Annual Fund are 100% Tax Deductible.

Unrestricted Gifts
Donations to the Annual Fund support the greatest needs of the school and have the most immediate impact. Unrestricted gifts make the most impact.
Donations made to honor a student’s birthday. This is a restricted gift that is only used to support our library.
Donations made in honor or memory of a person that can either be unrestricted or restricted for a specific use based on the donor’s wishes and arrangements made with the Development Office.
Donations made to a specific fund for a specific use that is arranged with the Development Office.
Special Events
Financial support of events through ticket sales and sponsorships. Net proceeds from these community gatherings are not 100% tax deductible based on the benefits received with the sale or sponsorship. Separate gifts to the Paddle Raise during the auction, however, are 100% tax Deductible.
Gifts-in-Kind
Tangible items such as equipment and supplies. The tax deduction is based on the value of the item contributed.
Original Works Art Fundraiser
The sale of special gifts featuring original student art. Net proceeds from the sale are not 100% tax deductible based on the product(s) purchased.
