Does your camper love to build? These little builders will spend the afternoon creating using Lego, cardboard, recyclable and natural materials inside and outside. Their imagination will be the only limit to their creations! Lots of fun projects & explorations to thrill little builders.

Your child will learn the fundamentals of ballet centered around all things Disney. Each day will consist of dance, prop making, snack and story time. This camp is open to girls and boys with no prior dance experience needed. Come and enjoy a “Disney Dance Party!”

These young imagineers will spend the afternoons exploring some of their favorite Disney characters and movies. They may recreate their favorite movie scenes through art or acting them out. They will learn to draw their favorite characters and play Disney games inspired by the songs and movies.

Build your own programmable robot! Join us for a week of fun with amazing robots! In this week of camp, learn about the uses of robots in our world and spend time experimenting with super cool red hot robots. Experiment with sound sensing robots, line-tracking robots, amphibious robots and robots that can even play soccer! Discover the science of circuits and how robots use sensors to explore things around them. Use your skills to build your very own working robot to take home with you.

Spend five afternoons as you S.T.E.A.M. AHEAD with hands-on practical learning in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. Campers will be encouraged to be creative as they perform science experiments and outside STEAM projects. A goal is to focus on cooperation and teamwork.

Young lords and ladies will spend the afternoon learning about medieval times through children’s literature. Create a cardboard castle and a shield, design a coat of arms and learn how to joust.

Two age groups: 4th-5th and 6th-8th The 14th Annual Coach Gerrard’s Basketball Camp at The Williams School Gym at the Blocker YMCA. Campers will practice basketball fundamentals, individual improvement drills, court awareness and team game experience. The bus will pick up and drop off campers at The Williams School. All campers should bring a water bottle and will be allowed to purchase wrapped snacks and drinks at the canteen. Campers will meet at school and will go by bus to the gym.

Knights, nobles, peasants and serfs unite as you learn about Medieval times through children’s literature. Make your own castle out of recyclable materials, create a catapult and craft a coat and arms. Learn the proper way to joust and throw a javelin (pool noodle).

Explore five of the coolest branches of science on your way to becoming a certified Jr. Mad Scientist. Discover how birds fly and learn what an owl eats as we dissect owl pellets in Bird Biology; build towering structures and ingenious contraptions via Engineering; go crazy while you construct catapults, pulleys and levers in Machine Mania; stir-up a crazy concoction that becomes sidewalk chalk and create a chromatography t-shirt in Chemistry; then do a double take as you learn how opticks really work in Lights and Sights!

Explore our neighborhood with daily walks to explore art inspired by nature. A field trip to the Chrysler Museum will enhance these artists’ imagination on the first afternoon. Campers will return to use a variety of media – paint, collage, pastels, and natural materials to create several projects.
