Welcome to our All News Events Page. Many of these items are links to more information (when lengthy). Items with more detail than can be shown on the "What's New" section of the main page, but more brief, are listed in full.
Decisions concerning School Closing or a late opening because of bad weather will be made by 6:00 AM. A message will be left on the school’s answering machine and may be accessed by calling 627-1383. We will also post the information on the school’s website: www.thewilliamsschool.org and “blast” an automated announcement using email and text-messaging formats. We will not necessarily follow the decisions of other schools, so it is important to pay attention to an announcement specific to The Williams School.
In addition, most local radio stations will broadcast announcements. WTAR-AM (AM 79), WNIS-AM(AM 850), WHRO (FM 89.5), WHRV (FM 90.3), and 2WD (FM101.3) are regularly notified by our school. We also notify WTKR (3),WAVY (10) and WVEC (13).
